We woke at 5 the first morning we camped in the Fitz Roy range to climb through the night up to this beautiful lake. It's as high and as close as you can get to the mountains proper without full equipment. The mountains turn pink at dawn (we didn't quite make that - the sun rose just as we were finishing the last 15 minutes). The big mountain is Fitz Roy, and the leftmost peak is Poincenot.
